Now Micro, a leader in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions and services, was able to help one needy family in St. Paul to repair their ailing home through Habitat for Humanity’s A Brush with Kindness (ABWK) program.

A Brush with Kindness is an exterior home preservation service that offers painting, landscaping, weather stripping and minor repair services for low-income homeowners impacted by age, disability and family circumstances. Habitat for Humanity selects families based on income, need and willingness to partner and then uses volunteer labor and donated materials.

Cindy Lehner-Smith from Habitat for Humanity said, “Now Micro volunteers washed, scraped and primed the home of the Vang family in St. Paul. This family had a deadline to get the work completed, and this deadline would not have been reached without the help of these exceptional volunteers.”

Now Micro chose to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity to give back to community where we live and work. At Now Micro, we see the importance in the ABWK mission to “revitalize the appearance of the neighborhood and encourage connections within the community.”

“This was a tremendous opportunity for our employees to give back to the neighborhood and partner with an organization that does so much good in the metro area,” said Pat Finn, President of Now Micro. “Now Micro will continue to encourage and empower our employees to dedicate their time and energy to such causes.”
