The OSD Frontend is a way to customize your Image Deployment Process by setting task sequence variables. The ConfigMgr administrator can define the UI and available controls, allowing the frontend to be customized to fit the organization’s needs. The controls in the frontend are dynamic, meaning user input can be used to drive the data in other controls. The option to customize the UI values with PowerShell is available as well, so most scenarios in which data needs to be collected about a device should be achievable.Download OSD Frontend BETA
The PowerShell Web Service is a way to run commands against your Active Directory and ConfigMgr environments even if your devices are running in WinPE. The task sequence administrator can use the web service to delete unknown devices, add computers to collections, or move objects in Active Directory. Since the functionality is all defined in PowerShell, new web calls can easily be added by copying PowerShell scripts to the web service folder.Download PowerShell Web Service
